Prof. Poonam Bansal did her B.Tech from Delhi Technical University (DTU, Delhi) (earlier called Delhi College of Engineering) in 1989 and M.Tech from DTU in Computer Science and Engineering in 2001. She has an overall experience of 28 years. She served the IT industry as a system executive for over eight years and since 2002 she is in teaching and research profession. She did her Ph.D. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2010 in the domain of Speech Technology. Prof. Poonam Bansal has published more than 65 papers in reputed peer reviewed National/International journals and conferences. She has also guided more than 30 B.Tech., M.Tech. projects. she is guiding many research scholars of Ph.D. registered with reputed universities. Her research has focused extensively on Speech Technology, NLP, Pattern recognition and Soft Computing. In 2019 she was awarded with CMI Level 5 Certification in “Management and Leadership”, by AICTE.
