2	Viksit Bharat @ 2047 At IGDTUW Experts Talk Series:	2024-04-15 to 2024-04-19	AI & DS department organized the Expert Talk Series on recent trends and advancements in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences from April 15 to April 19, 2024, at the University level in offline ( venue: COE-AI lab) and online mode towards the vision of "Viksit Bharat@2047." This event aimed to actively engage students in getting familiar with the recent trends and advancements in the domains of AI & DS and encourage them to exploit the potential of AI advancement to solve real-world problems. . 3	IGDTUW Organizes “VIKSIT BHARAT@2047 EVENT IDEATHON”	2024-01-24 to 2024-01-24	The Ideathon was organized by Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences, in collaboration with E-Cell’ IGDTUW, with the which took place on January 24, 2024, at IGDTUW, starting at 11 am. The event saw an impressive turnout with 120+ entries, representing 120 different ideas for the future of India, attracting participants from both inside and outside colleges. . 5	26th International Conference on Oriental-COCOSDA-2023	2023-12-04 to 2023-12-06	Oriental-COCOSDA is the flagship Conference, established in 1991 to promote international cooperation in developing speech corpora and coordinating assessment methods of speech input/output systems. The theme of the Conference focuses on sharing information and discussing regional matters on the creation, utilization, and dissemination of spoken language corpora of oriental languages and also on the assessment methods of speech recognition or synthesis systems, further promoting the speech processing research on regional and oriental languages. 6	Brainstorming sessions	2023-11-06 to 2023-11-06	The session was conducted by Ecell society of IGDTUW with the aim of fostering an environment that encourages members to openly share their startup concepts and assess their viability for business initiation. It provided a platform for a constructive dialogue, enabling a deeper understanding of potential customers and the challenges they might encounter. The primary objective was to exchange startup ideas and deliberate on their practicability. Various concepts, including a Document Management App, Health App, and Study in Real App/Website, were thoroughly examined, laying the foundation for potential ventures. For details, click here.
7	ORIENTATION AND VALEDICTORY	2023-09-21 to 2023-09-21	Microsoft Student Club IGDTUW organized its offline orientation on 21 September 2023 for all the freshers to guide them along their smooth journey in the careers of their choice and to lead them toward their goals and future aspirations. The event was held in the Auditorium, which received active participation from around 600 attendees. For details, click here.
8	Freshers Orientation Session	2023-09-11 to 2023-09-11	Orientation session was conducted by Ecell IGDTUW for the freshers. In the session we organized a small quiz and a fun game named stock wars. The game is based on the share market. Everyone enjoyed the game. The orientation session was a great success. We had an audience of 200 students in the session. For details, click here.
9	An Entrepreneurship Workshop	2023-07-27 to 2023-07-27	A highly informative workshop was conducted by Ecell IGDTUW. Ecell President, Mridula Kumar, in collaboration with Adira of CSD. This insightful session delved into various facets of entrepreneurship, providing students of IGDTUW with a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic world of startups. 10	INSIDER SERIES	2023-06-20 to 2022-08-18	MSC IGDTUW presented its inaugural Insider Series, a platform designed to provide exclusive insights into various tech opportunities. This edition was a series of online live sessions with inspiring tech enthusiasts who helped students navigate tech programs and internship opportunities and provided selfimplemented tips to benefit their juniors. 11	Founder’s Walk	2023-06-20 to 2023-06-20	An enthralling event, meticulously organized by Ecell along with Sibilize in collaboration with esteemed industry experts, featured an array of engaging activities. These included guest lectures and interactive Q&A sessions, providing attendees with invaluable insights from over 30 accomplished founders. The occasion was graced by distinguished Guests of Honour: Mr. Himanshu Adlakha, Founder at Winston; Mr. Anshumaan Singh, TEDx Speaker and recipient of the Shiksha Ratna; Mr. Vaibhav Bhatia, Vice President of the startup ecosystem at Yes Bank; and Ms. Tapsi Upadhyaya, Founder of Btech Panipuri. 12	SUMMER BOOT CAMP	2023-06-05 to 2023-07-18	The Summer Bootcamp organized by MSC IGDTUW aimed to empower participants with hands-on learning experiences in diverse domains, fostering skills in Web Development, App Development, AR/VR, AI/ML, and Cybersecurity. The event commenced on June 5th and concluded on June 30th, offering the 176 participants a rich learning experience and the opportunity to showcase their skills through exciting projects. 13	Summer Internship on Visual Computing with PyTorch	2023-05-29 to 2024-07-09	Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences, IGDTUW organized a summer internship on “Visual Computing with PyTorch” from 29th May- 09th July 2023. The course benefitted 180 students including both IGDTUW students as well as non-IGDTUW students. One of the main goals of the six-week summer internship was to make students understand the basics of visual computing and its applications in PyTorch programming language. The students were able to complete the internship course for six weeks. During these weeks, students worked on different project problems related to visual computing to enhance their programming skill-set. 14	Island of Fun	2023-03-27 to 2023-03-27	The informal sessions held by Ecell society of IGDTUW orchestrated with the objective of fortifying the bonds among ECell members. These included a variety of engaging games such as Flip Tic-Tac-Toe and the Headphone Game. The activities provided an avenue for lighthearted camaraderie, contributing to a more cohesive and closely-knit group.
